The Division’s free, ambitious 1.8 update will hit the game next week, date TBD (likely Tuesday). It will expand the map with a new region that adds twists to the game’s PvE. It will also offer a horde mode called Resistance and a PvP mode called Skirmish. Oh, and it’ll overhaul the rogue system in the Dark Zone.

The 4K and full HD remaster of Star Ocean: The Last Hope is now available on PC and PS4 for the special launch price of $20.99. This might be my last hope of playing through one of the best 3D Star Ocean games, after my previous attempt was thwarted 25 hours in by burglars.

Here’s the first trailer for Gal Gun 2, a FPS in which you must fend off schoolgirl advances with your trusty Pheromone Shot weapon. It’ll be released on the PS4 and Nintendo Switch on March 15, 2018. No word yet on an international release.

Shining Resonance is getting a revamped version for the PS4. Originally released in 2014 on the PS3, the “power-upped” PS4 release will feature remastered graphics. It will be out on March 29, 2018 in Japan. No word about an international release.

Available on Steam and mobile and coming to the Switch tomorrow and PS4 next week, Cat Quest is a charming little action role-playing game. Quest to save your catnapped sister from an evil overlord, or just wander the world killing monsters, casting spells and gathering loot. Either way, it’s a lot of fun.

Nihon Falcom has announced that the latest entry in the The Legend of Heroes series is planned for the PlayStation 4. Moreover, the first and second Legend of Heroes games will also get PS4 releases. These were announced in the company’s September 2018 plans.
