The Thief Gold HD Texture Mod has hit version 1.0 after a couple years’ development, turning Looking Glass Studios’ 15+ year old stealth-em-up a lot... well, I wouldn’t say prettier, ‘cause Thief’s universe is hardly pretty. But still, those are some impressive visuals. Might try this on my next playthrough.

Dark Souls 2 fans should be wary of installing the fan-made DS2Fix patch, as players are reporting they’re being softbanned. It’s unclear if the two are linked yet. Softbanning means you can only fight or join up with other people who have been softbanned. We’ve asked Bandai Namco for comment. Read more

Here's the latest screenshot of the Brutal Doom v20 mod which, after numerous delays, might finally see the light of day in late April. The shot depicts a level from the Starter Pack—an original, 30-level campaign, enhanced with Brutal Doom, designed to run without any official Doom files.
