The Gamestick is, I think, part of the same silly little Android console idea that we'll be laughing about in five years' time. But while the idea is here, in the moment, we may as well enjoy it.

GameStick, a prospective Android gaming platform that easily surpassed a $100,000 funding goal within days of being listed on Kickstarter, has had its fund drive pulled by Kickstarter in light of "an intellectual property dispute." That decision is per Kickstarter itself.
I admire their spirit. Their heart is in the right place. But I can't help but feel that the makers of the GameStick—the "the most affordable, open and portable TV games console ever created"—are going to be up against it.
