It looks like Bungie is moving ahead with its Destiny 2 reveal after all. Originally leaked on Instagram, Bungie today confirmed it’ll show details of what’s to come in the game on June 9 at 12:00 p.m. ET. Other gaming events have recently been delayed following the ongoing protests.

A now-deleted Destiny 2 teaser sure makes it look like the game is soon headed to Jupiter’s icy moon of Europa. You can still watch Eris Morn trudge through the snow in the short Instagram video announcing a June 9 reveal. Europa was planned for Destiny 1 but later cut.

An update fixing Destiny 2's Felwinter’s Lie quest is now live. The questline was previously broken for a number of players, warping them to the surface of the moon rather than into Rasputin’s bunker, and as a result making it impossible to obtain the legendary shotgun from Destiny 1.

Destiny 2 is coming to next-gen consoles, Bungie announced today following Microsoft’s Xbox Series X event. The studio didn’t given any specifics about when, but said more details would be coming in the future. The game’s fourth year and annual expansion get underway this fall.
