As part of the 7.40 patch, Fortnite players who complete 13 of the new Overtime challenges will get Season 8's Battle Pass free. The patch also brings new LTMs, changes to the Bush and Zipline, and brings back gifting until February 22.

Account merging is now available in Fornite. You choose a primary account to play on and a secondary one to disable, and it will take two weeks for items to merge. There are other restrictions regarding the dates the accounts were last used and platforms that can be merged, which are detailed on the site.

Fortnite’s 7.30 update lets players use the campfires around the world to heal, similar to the Cosy Campfire item. The patch also adds a new weapon called Bottle Rockets, vaults the Boom Box, and makes the Chiller Grenade quieter.
