When you take two Pokémon and mix them together for something entirely new, that's called Pokémon splicing or Pokémon fusion. And it makes for some wonderfully cool creations that cannot be found in the games.

A few years back, Kotaku covered the resurgence of Pokémon splicing through website Pokémon Fusion as well as in these stylish, artistic fusions.

As recently noted on website Kai-You, for over a year now, Twitter users in Japan have continued to upload their drawn fusions, many of which are quite well-done and worth sharing.
