Japanese Pop Star Swallowed by Microphones in Hong Kong
Singer Sakura Miyawaki of the pop groups HKT48 and AKB48 was recently in Hong Kong to promote Japanese ramen chain Ippudo. First there was a photo op. Then, this. As one 2ch commenter pointed out, it’s hard to tell if the press is interviewing her or promoting itself! That was nice of them to create…

UncategorizedPutin Looks Disappointed With Russia’s Latest Robot
Who can blame him? This military robot doesn’t exactly inspire fear. However, it does appear to be quite slow. As RT reports, Putin recently visited a research facility outside Moscow, where he was shown this combat bot. Granted, while making robots like this is incredibly difficult, it’ll be a few years before this one, forgive…

Eating Pokémon Food Can Be Frightening
Well, that certainly is scary. Website Omo69 visited the newly opened Pokémon Cafe Ω Ruby & α Sapphire in Tokyo, ordering the Pikachu rice omelette with blue “aqua sauce.” You can also order magma sauce, instead. This is the meal. Its official name is “Rice Omelette that Would Also Make Pikachu Smile.” And the aqua…

UncategorizedI Need A Little More Romance In My Adult Dating Puzzle RPG
SuccessfullyKickstarted back in November 2013, HuniePop is one part puzzle role-playing game, one part dating sim with a dash of hentai on the side. Is it strange that the element I’m most excited by is the puzzles? First things first, HuniePop is an adult game in which the objective is for your male or female…

CultureTotal RecallStar Wars’ Most Explosive Moment, Captured Perfectly In A Video Game
Since it’s out today on GoG, meaning a bunch of people are going to be playing it for the first time, let’s talk about X-Wing Alliance. And how it has the best ending of any Star Wars game ever made. X-Wing Alliance, the third in Lucasarts’ trilogy of space shooters, took away years of my…

While they might look like photos, these are actually digital portraits, all done by Euclase, one of the best fan artists on the planet. Her work is absolutely phenomenal. UncategorizedThe Funniest Guns In Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell
I didn’t exactly loveSaints Row: Gat Out Of Hell, but it definitely had some great moments. One in particular earns you a weapon that’s among the silliest in the entire series—and that’s saying something. Hell hath no fury like a spoiler hater scorned. So, you know, spoiler warning. One of the best aspects of Saints…

Are You Still Playing GTA Online?
If you own GTA V, you’ve probably spent a fair bit of time playing it… in single-player, anyway. But are you playing GTA Online? Rockstar’s multiplayer version of Los Santos is a weird and wooly place, and requires a pretty steep time commitment, at least at first. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t fun to…
