The Planescape: Torment successor Torment: Tides of Numenera will enter Steam Early Access on January 26, the developers said in the most recent backer update. This will be a beta release; still no word on the final release date.

The Bard’s Tale IV is looking pretty impressive. inXile, they of Wasteland 2 and Torment: Tides of Numenera, just put out a trailer for their next classic role-playing revival. Bard’s Tale IV is currently on Kickstarter, where it’s already raked in over $900,000.
