Summary

Dungeons on Stream is a first-person, grid-based dungeon crawler played by a livestream’s chat. Streamers add it to their broadcast as an overlay, and viewers control the game by typing commands in Twitch chat or by redeeming channel point rewards.

The game has two modes. In Chat controlled mode, viewers join a party of up to four as a warrior, mage, rogue or cleric, vote on each step through procedurally generated floors, and fight monsters and bosses in turn-based combat. In Auto mode, any number of viewers can join a descent; the party then explores and fights on its own, healing only at fountains and shrines, until it reaches the bottom or every hero has fallen. Fallen players leave headstones on the floor where they died, and the last one standing earns titles.

Characters keep their levels across streams. Other features include loot of five rarities, room events, a merchant with party upgrades, fishing, nemesis monsters, a boss kill cam, and public leaderboards and player profiles for each channel. Streamers can customize all of the game’s artwork and add their own monsters, bosses and items.
