Summary
2×2 is an MBF21 community project hosted by brendondle, and is the sequel to 1×1! Once again, the concept is very simple: the maps only use 2 textures and 2 flats, with the exception of a single switch texture and F_SKY (which was only allowed to be used if a texture was transferred to it!). Double the textures, double the flats, and double the fun! The wad features 24 mbf21-compatible maps made by various authors. The difficulty curve is as steep as a mountain, though difficulty settings are implemented and HMP or HNTR are strongly recommended for first playthroughs. Additionally, many of the maps, especially the later ones, get really long. It is absolutely not recommended to marathon this wad, unless you intentionally want to burn yourself out. Maps are ordered very roughly by difficulty. Pistol starts are intended but we won’t put a gun to your head.
