Coming Full Circle, Former Candidate Herman Cain Now Sings the Pokémon Song

Herman Cain, whose campaign for the Republican presidential nomination included bizarre references to both SimCity and Pokémon, is officially out of the race. Cain, who admitted to GQ that he committed to memory the lyrics of the title theme to Pokémon: The Movie (even if he didn’t know that’s what it was at the time) finally dropped the gloves and sang said song, on a dais in front of a gospel choir, evidently.

Cain loosens up the golden pipes at 1:44 of this video; everything before that is quoting the lyrics, which is humorous, but this gets to the punchline.

Thursday, President Obama sang a few lines of Al Green’s classic “Let’s Stay Together.” Now we have this. Who’s the better vocalist?
