Throughout the morning and afternoon, Nintendo folks have been demoing their new open-world Zelda game, Breath of the Wild. (We’ve played it, too.) If you missed some of the stream, we’ve got you covered. Watch a bunch of the demos below: My favorite part was the part where Link got cold. Aw! Poor little guy.

Tonight at Sony’s E3 Megapalooza, the PlayStation makers announced a PS4-exclusive Spider-Man game from Insomniac, the studio behind Ratchet & Clank and Sunset Overdrive “Take control of an experienced Peter Parker who is more masterful at fighting crime,” reads the blurb beneath the teaser. No origin story then, it seems. Yes, please.
We knew PlayStation VR was coming in October, but now we’ve got a date: October 13, 2016. Which is a Thursday, as it turns out.
The Last Guardian continues to be a real, actual video game that we will be able to really and truly play in a few short months. On October 25, 2016, to be precise.
Here’s Wilson’s Heart, a noir VR game from Twisted Pixel. It’s coming to Oculus Rift in 2017.
Today at E3, Ubisoft showed a ten-minute demo of Watch Dogs 2 featuring hacking, hip-hop and some unlikely fashion choices. I’m not an elite hacker or anything, but I don’t think most people wear the brand of their underground hacking ring on their hat? I’d imagine it’s also kinda hard to see through custom LED…
Today at E3, Ubisoft RedLynx announced Trials of the Blood Dragon, which looks about like what you’d expect if you took a Trials game and mashed it up wth Far Cry: Blood Dragon. I’ll cost $14.99 and it’s actually coming out… right now! Well, not right this very instant; they said it’ll be out in…
Ubisoft just debuted The Division’s second expansion, “Survival.” Unclear if it’ll actually have survival/weather/stamina mechanics, but here’s hoping. They also announced the release date for the first expansion, “Underground”: It’ll hit Xbox One and PC on June 28, PS4 on August 2.
Today at Ubisoft’s E3 press conference we got a good long look at the open-world cooperative action game Ghost Recon Wildlands, coming March of 2017. SUPERHOT VR gets a new Oculus Touch trailer. Should be pretty cool—the non-VR game is great—though I’ll be curious whether or not you can move around within levels. They call it a “complete new title” and say it’ll debut with Oculus Touch later this year.
Don’t Starve studio Klei Entertainment just announced Oxygen Not Included, a “space-colony simulation game” that looks right up their wacky danger-sim alley. More details and screens over at the game’s Steam page
Today at Microsoft’s E3 press conference, Platinum Games showed off a massive co-op boss fight from Scalebound, their take on Monster Hunter-ish co-op beast slaying. Platinum’s Hideki Kamiya called this sequence “the biggest boss fight platinum has ever made,” which is saying something. Having watched the clip, I buy it. That is a very big…

Inside, Playdead’s follow-up to Limbo, hits Xbox One on June 29th and Steam on July 7th. They’re making Limbo free on Xbox One until June 20, and on Steam June 21-22. I’ve played the whole game and it is ridiculously good. More on that a little later, once this press conference madness dies down.
The fun younger sibling of the Forza family is getting a new game this fall. At today’s E3 press conference, Microsoft unveiled Forza Horizon 3 for Xbox One and Windows 10. It’s set in Australia. Forza Horizon 2 is one of the most fun racing games I’ve played; it easily earned a spot on our…
Dontnod’s Vampyr has got its first trailer. If you were expecting an undead Life is Strange, well, bad news. If you were expecting a bloody vampire action game, well, good news!
