The Anker Nano 13-in-1 Laptop Docking Station is a desktop dock that converts a single laptop USB-C port into 13 connectivity ports. Video outputs include two HDMI and one DisplayPort, plus Ethernet, five USB ports, a headphone jack, and dual SD card readers. A detachable 6-in-1 hub also pops out of the dock body for travel, giving you a portable set of ports when you leave the desk. Power delivery to the laptop reaches up to 100W over a single USB-C connection.

The Anker Nano 13-in-1 Laptop Docking Station is currently $112 on Amazon, down from its $150 list price for a 25% discount.

A simple way to set up your laptop with peripherals and other hardware

Modular design is the defining feature of this dock in Anker’s lineup. The main dock stays on your desk, connected to power and peripherals. The 6-in-1 hub attaches to a slot on the front, drawing power from the dock and passing the signal through the same connection. Pressing the release button pops the hub out while the dock keeps operating, so all plugged-in peripherals stay connected as you carry the hub away.

Video output through the dock supports up to three external displays at 4K at 60Hz. The back of the dock has two HDMI ports and one DisplayPort, each carrying a separate video signal from the laptop’s USB-C port. Windows laptops extend across all three monitors independently. macOS mirrors all displays to show the same content due to built-in limitations. When the hub is unplugged and taken along, its own HDMI port supports one 4K display.

Beyond video, the dock includes a full set of USB, network, and audio ports. A pair of 10Gbps USB-C ports on the front supports fast external SSDs and drives. USB-A ports total three for keyboards, mice, and older peripherals. Gigabit Ethernet on the back gives a wired network connection for stable video calls or large file transfers. SD and microSD readers support memory cards up to 104 MB/s. A 3.5mm audio jack pairs with wired headphones or external speakers.

Power delivery to the laptop maxes at 100W over the single USB-C upstream connection. That’s enough to charge and power most laptops without discrete GPUs, including the MacBook Pro 14-inch, Dell XPS 13 and 15, and most ThinkPad models. A 140W wall adapter comes in the box with a 5-foot power cord. The dock is compatible with any laptop that supports USB-C DP Alt Mode and Power Delivery, which includes Windows 10 and 11 and macOS 13.5 and later.

Anker sells a range of USB-C docks at different port counts, video output combinations, and power levels, from a basic 5-port hub up to the Prime 14-in-1 with Thunderbolt speeds. The Nano 13-in-1 shown here fits in the middle of the lineup, with the removable hub as the standout addition. At $112, down from $150, the current sale takes $38 off the list price. For a home office desk setup with a laptop that switches between desk and travel work, this fits both roles.
