Holy crap. HOLY CRAP. After leaving us with one hell of a cliffhanger at the end of Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, XSEED may be finally announcing that the sequel is coming to U.S. shores.
If you are a regular Kotaku reader, you have probably seen me rave about XSEED's PSP role-playing game, which ranks among my favorites of all time. It came out in 2011, it's pretty great, and it ends with the sort of cliffhanger that puts LOST to shame. Yet we still haven't seen the sequel, and XSEEDhas been hesitant about committing to localizing it in English, mostly thanks to the ridiculous size of the second game's script.
But this afternoon, the small publisher started teasing something. They posted this image:
And immediately, a clever NeoGAFfer figured out that it's from this picture:
Which is from Trails in the Sky: Second Chapter, the elusive sequel that fans have spent the past two years begging XSEED for. It's coming, you guys. It's finally coming.
