The requirements for the PC version of Batman: Arkham City have shown up on Steam, and according to the game's information page, they're not too steep!
Take a look at what you'll need to bring justice to Arkham City as the Dark Knight:
Requirements
- OS: Windows XP, Vista, 7
- Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or AMD Athlon X2 4800+
- Memory: 2GB RAM
- Hard Disk Space: 17 GB
- Video Card: ATI 3850HD 512 MB or NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB
While they're not exactly low, they don't look unreasonable, and many modern computers should be able to handle them. It'll eat up your hard drive space in a flash, though!
Also of note, as displayed in the details on the page's sidebar, is that the game will include SecuROM as the method of DRM. This is sure to bother some, but hopefully does not get in the way of the experience too much.
PC gamers will have to wait until Nov. 15 to join in the action on their platform, but we've seen what it can do, so I hope it's worth it.
Keep in mind these are only listed as "Requirements" on Steam, so one must assume they are the minimum specs and that the recommended list will crop up eventually.
