Donkey Kong Island is overrun by Vikings in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, which will be a retail release and a Wii U eShop download when it arrives later this year.
The first high-definition entry in the Donkey Kong Country series, Tropical Freeze will introduce different camera angles to the sidescrolling platformer. Dixie Kong returns and Diddy Kong appears as playable characters. The game supports two-player co-op play.
