The Most Terrifying Enemy In Fallout 4

What is the scariest monster roaming the Commonwealth, dear wanderer? Is it Deathclaws? Supermutants? Perhaps ghouls are the worst the wasteland has to offer? No. Of course not. Nothing quite compares to the horrors pointed out by sohoshuffle in this video: Ha. Then again, that’s not quite as bad as this mod showcased by FluffyNinjaLlama,…

Project X Zone 2 Is A Stupid Fun Party With All Of Your Friends

Say you have several groups of good friends. Work friends, neighborhood friends, online friends; each group great in their own way. You throw a shindig to get them all together. Why? It doesn’t matter, as long as everybody gets together and has a good time. That’s Project X Zone 2 Top GIF from the Japanese…

Ten World of Warcraft Zones No One Visits

Whether it’s the lack of things to do, boring quests or depressing aesthetics, WoW has some zones everyone tries to skip or avoid. Here’s a top ten from WoW veteran Crendor, and it’s a list of abandoned places that could be easily extended to 15. There are so many zones in the game. Luckily, though,…

How To Create The Face Mask From Mad Max

It’s the mask the War Boys put it on Max when they captured him, and the folks Awe Me created black thermal plastic version of it to be exact. Looks comfy! And the end result is indeed something similar and shiny enough for a Mad Max prop. To contact the author of this post, write…

The Theory That the Lupe vs. Daigo Fight Was Staged [Update]

Last night, Lupe Fiasco beat Daigo Umehara in Street Fighter V. The result was unexpected, and some believe, perhaps, staged. There could be other factors the contributed to this outcome. Maybe Daigo was jet-lagged, maybe he’s still not that familiar with Street Fighter V, or maybe he was being polite. Or maybe, you know, Lupe…

Lupe Fiasco Beat Daigo In Street Fighter V

Remember how Lupe Fiasco wanted to fight Daigo in Street Fighter V? Well, he got his wish. And then some. Somehow, despite his opponent being one of the greatest fighters to have ever lived, Lupe…won? You can watch the whole thing as it happened below.

Rare Gundam Model Brought Back From The Dead

In the 80s, manga artist and mech designer Makoto Kobayashi made a custom model kit called the “Special O”. It was so cool that Bandai picked it up and turned it into an official Gundam model. Thing is, that was a long time ago. Only a few small, blurry pics (and some sketches) remain of…

Nailed It

Guys. That’s Unity CEO (and former EA boss) John Riccitiello vs Oculus founder Palmer Luckey at the Vision Summit last week. From:

Overwatch Is Still Giving Out ‘Play of the Game’ For Doing Nothing

Overwatch is remarkably polished for a game in beta testing, but… it’s still a game in beta testing. Overwatch’s “play of the game” feature is great. It’s a nice way to cap off a match, showing a player wrecking shop in the kills or heals department. When you earn it, it feels amazing. When somebody…

A Small Thing I Appreciate About The PC Version Of Firewatch

You can play the PC version of Firewatch with a mouse and keyboard, if you want. You can also use a controller—any kind of controller. In the Firewatch menu, you have the option to change the on-screen prompts to match up with an Xbox 360 controller, a Steam controller, or a PS4 Dualshock controller. This…

My Favorite Images From Toy Fair 2016 Day Two

My second and final full day at my very first Toy Fair 2016 in New York City has come and gone, and already I miss it terribly. Nothing flipping through photos of Nerf guns, Pokemon plushies, Final Fantasy figures, Monster High dolls, Transformers, Marvel heroes and more can’t fix. I’ve been dreaming of this weekend…

Fans Begin Project To Remake Star Wars: KOTOR

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is one of the most beloved Star Wars games ever made. Soon, it might also be one of the most beloved Star Wars games ever re-made. Apeiron (probably not pronounced “Ape Iron,” but I can dream) is a fan effort that aims to remake the entirety of the…

Important Fire Emblem Fates Petting Update

The confusion around the self-censored Fire Emblem petting/touching mini-game is finally ending. We now must clarify that, while the American version of Fire Emblem Fates will not let you rub allied characters in exchange for gratitude, it will indeed let you tap your spouse in order to wake them up. We bring you this update…

How To Aim A Rocket In XCOM 2

Two alien jerks are bearing down on your squad. You’ve got a rocket loaded up and ready. Now to see if you can hit them both with one shot… That’s one highlighted… …that’s the other. Now to see if I can get the circle around them both… Nope, not quite… Argh… so close… Can’t… quite……

Yep, That’s Street Fighter On Kanye West’s New Album

If you’ve listened to The Life of Pablo, Kanye’s new album, you might have noticed a few familiar voices barking throughout a couple of songs. That’s because Kanye actually sampled Street Fighter II (as is tradition for rap artists, by this point). From the very first verse on FACTS, you can spot Street Fighter II’s…

Splatoon Is Lit With Players Arguing Over Pokémon Red and Blue

Splatoon players have some pretty strong opinions about one of the oldest fights in video games, Pokémon Red versus Pokémon Blue. As you might already know, Splatoon is holding a Pokémon-themed “Splatfest.” Basically, players choose a team—in this case, Pokémon Red or Pokémon Blue. After picking one, Splatoon sorts players into teams. Players then duke…

Dark Horse’s Witcher III Figures Are Pretty Damn Good

Dark Horse and CD Projekt Red have joined forces to create all sorts of Witching memorabilia, starting with a gorgeous set of premium action figures launching this fall. Come gaze upon them. On display at Toy Fair 2016, the initial wave of figures based on The Witcher III: Wild Hunt will feature most of the…

Dark Souls Player Beats Game Without Getting Hit

People have finished Dark Souls in a number of bizarre ways, from tapping bongos to flipping the perspective upside down. The most impressive yet, however, may be Twitch streamer The Happy Hobbit downing From Software’s challenging action RPG without getting hit a single time. This isn’t something The Happy Hobbit cooked up overnight. He’s been…

Players Are Doing Amazing Things With Halo 5’s Forge

Look at this ridiculous Halo 5 Forge mini-game. LOOK AT IT. Soz3rGaming gives us a video preview of “Flapjack Frenzy,” a map created by Halo 5 player SplinterBL. The name tells you everything you need to know about it: the mini-game has players commandeering “spatulas,” which must be used to flip players—who resemble pancakes—off the…

Activision has been hit with layoffs, I’m told. FreeStyle Games, creators of Guitar Hero Live, were greatly impacted. “We are refocusing to better align with Activision’s long-term priorities because, as always, our strategy evolves to keep us ahead of a rapidly-changing industry,” a company spokesperson said.
