Three Video Game Balloons from the 2015 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

These things are huge up close, guys. “Pikachu! Pikachu! Pikachu!”

My family and I woke up entirely too early today and went to the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. After more than an hour of waiting with a restless kid—gotta get there early to get a good spot—the pageantry started to roll by. I shot some quick video below of this year’s balloons that came from video games.

You can see familiar faces from Pokémon, Angry Birds and Skylanders in the clips below. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need a nap.
