If the asking price for Sony's PlayStation 3 is currently too rich for your blood, you may have to wait until later this year for a price drop. Or so thinks THQ boss Brian Farrell.
The publishing head honcho said during today's quarterly earnings call that the royal THQ "we" isn't expecting Sony to cut the price on the PlayStation 3 until after E3. But Farrell readily admits he's not in a position to know the PlayStation maker's plans, deflecting price adjustment predictions by saying, "The right people to ask about prices there are Sony."
On the PSP side, Farrel does think that, should rumors of a UMD-less PSP Go! be true, that the public is ready for a digital download-only gaming device.
