Condemned is a fucking classic.

Story time. I was staying over at my then girlfriend of the time and it was like 2 or 3 in the morning? She was sleeping, I was the only thing awake, playing Condemned with all the lights off and no sound besides the TV. Perfect conditions for a horror game.

So I'm doing this one level of the game and I had my UV scanner thingy out and was following a trail of blood on the floor which led me to this window that over looked a staircase. There are what look like finger and hand prints leading up to this lookout. As I get right next to the window and slowly peak over it there were these finger tips creeping up and eyes staring back at me for just a split second and they were gone. I swear to god my heart stopped then and there. I didn't scream, I didn't jump, I just froze and my mind went blank. THAT'S HORROR, THAT'S HOW YOU DO SHIT.
