NBA 2K is best known for giving the league's star performers signature appearances - shots, dunks, dribbling, etc. That will certainly be put to the test when the game recreates Michael Jordan, whose playing style is instantly recognizable to millions.
Tons of in-game footage here show how the Visual Concepts team managed to pull it off. Here Jordan's Chicago Bulls thrash the Dominique Wilkins-era Atlanta Hawks, with his Airness dominating the highlight film and The Human Highlight Film, going off for 58 plus 7 assists. This figures to be from the "Shootout" chapter of The Jordan Challenge, in which the 1990 Bulls and Hawks face off in the regular season and your job is to outscore 'Nique, hold him under 25, and win the game. It sounds easy enough, but you've got to remember to play defense.
NBA 2K11 releases Tuesday.
