It's summer! In Japan, that means watermelon, trips to the beach, and Shoko Nakagawa covered with insect shells.

In late July and early August, you can hear cicada (セミ or semi) chirping in Japan. And each summer for the past several years, celeb Shoko Nakagawa has covered her head with cicada husks.
Nakagawa has done this online since 2006—a long time! Her latest bug-hairdo was uploaded to Twitter earlier today and has already been retweeted over nine thousand times.
