ChinaJoy, the region's version of the E3 gaming expo, has kicked off. The PC game-heavy show is known for its big booths, booth companions and cosplayers.

According to website CNNgo, show sponsors say the goal of the event is to strengthen domestic game supervision, actively regulate the markets of electronics and Internet publications, rigorously fight against piracy in order to encourage and support legal game products, and establish a platform for the comprehensive development of Chinese electronics products… While showing the new products and technologies, the exhibition aims to be the window of presenting industrial policies, accessing to market information, and absorbing global opinions and suggestion in order to play a positive role in the development."

Continuing until August 1, this is the eighth annual ChinaJoy. The show attracts exhibitors from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, South Korea, Japan, North America and Europe.

My friend tells me that the Chinese girls in China are heads and tails better than the boatload of Chinese girls I have in my hometown. I used to think he was just biased, now I can admit I'm wrong.

But at the same time, I'm going to cry photoshop and too much make up, just for the sole purpose of venting sour grapes.
