Tablets capable of handling everyday tasks, running multiple applications at once, and supporting long hours of use without running out of battery usually aren’t the cheapest.
The TCL Tab A1 Plus checks all those boxes but comes with a not-so-budget-friendly price tag of $280. If you’ve been eyeing it and also happen to be a Prime member, Amazon has some good news for you. It’s now offering this feature-packed tablet for $220 to Prime members, all thanks to a 21% discount. All versions are discounted, but the prices may vary. For instance, this specific offer applies to the Space Blue model. The Aerolite Grey model that comes with a T-Pen and a case is going for $300, down from $400, while getting the bundle in Grey will cost you $250 (originally $300).
These offers are limited to Prime shoppers at the time of writing, so other shoppers will still see the tablets listed at their retail prices. That could change as we move closer to Black Friday, so if you don’t have a Prime subscription yet, you might want to wait a little longer to see if Amazon opens the deal to everyone else too.
Spacious display, pretty solid performance
This tablet comes with a stunning 12.2-inch 2.4K display that delivers sharp, vibrant visuals consistently. The 100% sRGB color gamut offers lifelike accuracy, while the 120Hz refresh rate keeps the visuals smooth for all your tasks. The screen is pretty spacious, so you’ll be able to stream, work, and even multitask with a couple of windows open side by side comfortably.
Of course, you need a good processor to enjoy a solid experience for all this. Performance is taken care of with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor that’s paired with a modest 6GB of RAM to handle all your regular tasks with ease. You also get up to 10GB of virtual memory expansion for times you need a bit more power, like when you’re trying to juggle a bunch of apps/tasks at the same time! The 128GB storage is expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card, as well.
Immersive audio comes from built-in quad stereo speakers that push bold sound. Plus, if you like catching up with friends over video calls or need to attend online meetings often, you’ll greatly appreciate the camera system featuring a 5MP front and 8MP rear camera. As for the battery life, a single charge can get you through most of the day easily. Recharging is quick, so even when you’re running low on battery, it won’t be long before the tablet is all set to go again.
The TCL Tab A1 Plus tablet is now down to $220 on Amazon. It normally goes for $280, but this discount takes $60 off the price. Just note that it’s limited to Prime members as of now.
