The western release of SINoALICE, the smartphone game from Nier: Automata director Yoko Taro scheduled to launch worldwide today, has been delayed indefinitely, publisher Nexon announced on Facebook. For now, the game remains exclusive to Japan.

Square Enix has announced that the next raid in Final Fantasy XIV will be based on Nier: Automata. They revealed the news at FFXIV Fan Fest 2019 and also announced that the new raid will be designed by Nier creators Yosuke Saito and Yoko Taro.

Taro Yoko’s producer at Square Enix says he wants the Nier director to make a Final Fantasy. He let this brilliant idea fly during a recent interview with Wow Japan, saying he would want the game to feature a “similar strangeness” to Yoko’s other games. “I’m hoping for a big budget if I do work on it,” Yoko replied.
