Blizzard has announced Overwatch’s D.Va will join Heroes of the Storm, and she’ll be a Warrior class. Here’s the new cinematic featuring D.Va fighting alongside fellow Overwatch fighter Genji. Both appear as part of the Heroes of the Storm 2.0 update rolling out today and tomorrow.

Genji has just joined the Heroes of the Storm roster, so let’s hope you wanted yet another Assassin type. With the addition of Genji comes the game’s first Overwatch-themed map, Hanamura. This is a two-lane payload map with a whole lot of beautiful cherry blossoms.

South Korea’s Ballistix are the new World Champions of Heroes of the Storm after defeating Europe’s Fnatic HotS 3-1 in a best-of-five series at BlizzCon 2016. They had beat Fnatic 2-o in a series from earlier in the tournament. The win was worth $300,000 in prize money.

Varian and Ragnaros are coming to Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard announced today. Both World of Warcraft characters are playable at BlizzCon and will join the MOBA by the end of the year, with Varian in November and Ragnaros in December.

The latest update to Blizzard’s Battle.net launcher allows players to stream games like Overwatch, Hearthstone and World of Warcraft directly to Facebook.

Overwatch’s beloved particle cannon-wielding tank, Zarya, will have a new canon soon: Heroes of the Storm. Blizzard revealed at Gamescom today that Zarya will be a playable HotS hero in the new Machines of War event. Two StarCraft stages are also being added as new battle maps.
