Here's to the video games that give you things for your birthday. Gran Turismo 6 is joining that too-short list with its latest digital title update, according to the PlayStation blog. What else is there? Animal Crossing? And?

Ready for Gran Turismo 7? Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi said his studio has conceived a PS4 version of their PS3 game Gran Turismo 6. However, Joystiq reports it will take some time to get out (surprise!), and it's possible the game might be what's eventually Gran Turismo 7. The keyword here is "eventually."

While the initial announcement said nothing of a PS4 version, series creator Kazunori Yamauchi has told GameSpot that "We have a PS4 version in mind for the future".

The official Gran Turismo website has a (blank) product page for "Gran Turismo®6". How interesting.

Kazunori Yamauchi won't say when GT6 is coming out, because people will say it's been delayed. Talk about forecasting.
