I think people are too quick to jump to conclusions with this game. Because they don't see a neon pink grind rail and score multipliers in this clip, they assume it must not be SSX. As I pointed out in yesterday's reveal, SSX3 had plenty of moments (and arguably it's best moments) where you just rode down the side of a mountain, much like we see here.
And from what we can tell, the guy jumps out of a chopper to snowboard down (one one can only assume is) Mt. Everest before he flies off of it. I definitely think that's SSX's level of insanity, so they're in the ballpark. I agree with everyone that the "tone" feels a bit off, like it's trying to take itself too seriously, but hopefully that's just a bad first impression and not indicative of how the final product will end up.
It's far too soon to say this game isn't going to be anything like the SSX games of old. It's just a teaser, so lets give it some time before we light the torches and grab the pitchforks.
