The Facebook page for Split/Second promises three packs of new cars - one of them free - later this month, and a "major DLC pack" that includes a new environment in September.
Black Rock Studios, the game's maker, says the first DLC pack offers more cars "to really make your turbo-powered Elite vehicles stand out from the rest of the crowd!" Pack two is called the "High Octane" Supercar pack. The third, a thank-you gesture to the Split/Second community, is a free special edition car based on the Ryback Cyclone.
Pricing and specific dates for the others were not set; Black Rock said the DLC packs will be available on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network "in the next couple of weeks." There will also be a "major DLC pack featuring a new environment coming in September."
