Who needs ski poles when there are swords?
Recently, Freestyle skier Shogo Kawano donned samurai armor for a photo shoot and some downhill skiing. According to Kawano, the armor weighed about 25 kilograms (55 pounds). Add add in a katana, and you’ve got a tricky stunt to pull off.
“You pray you don’t stab yourself with the katana lol,” Kawano wrote on his Facebook page.
