The neck-and-neck battle for weekly hardware dominance in Japan is tipped in Sony’s favor this week, with the PSP and PlayStation 3 continuing their reign at the top of the country’s sales charts.
As it was in previous weeks, the PSP sits comfortably atop that list, with the PS3 and Wii again battling for second place. Sony’s current generation console managed to outdo Nintendo’s, but by a very close margin. The battle between the PSP and DS wasn’t as close, with the pair of PlayStation Portables moving well past the Nintendo DS siblings.
