The rarities of professional basketball - the 100-point game, the quadruple-double - are almost taken for granted in video game hoops. Then someone pulls off both feats with the same player, in the same game.

bernzomatic, playing for Miami in NBA 2K11's "My Player" career mode, was a steal short of a quad-dub when he rolled his ankle and hit the disabled list for four weeks. Coming back from the sprain, he wanted to leave no doubt he could have sealed the deal.

"The game was winding down and I noticed that, on top of the quadruple double, I had almost broken the 100 point mark," bernzomatic writes, "so I decided to continue scoring as much as possible until the game ended."

He ended up with 106 points, 10 rebounds, 14 assists and 11 steals. I had him supply five different screenshots verifying the feat (he made 41 of 61 shots, 19 of 20 free throws, and scored all but 59 of Miami's points in a 165-112 whitewashing of Cleveland).

For those wondering, he got A+ teammate grades in all phases. I was expecting his advisor to pop up and chew him out for hogging the ball. bernzomatic was even praised for "good shot selection."
