The upcoming Square Enix published, Cavia developed role-playing game Nier has been given a release date for Japan.
On April 22, Nier Replicant will be released on the PS3 and Nier Gestalt will be released on the Xbox 360. The games are set in the same world, but with different character design. A younger version of the main character Neir will appear in Replicant.

Nier Replicant will be released only in Japan. The West will get Neir Gestalt (with its older, gruffer protagonist) on both the Xbox 360 and the PS3. It will simply be titled Nier.
