Welcome to E3 2016! Kotaku is in Los Angeles for the week, bringing you all the news, interviews, media, and more from the year’s biggest trade show. We’ll update this post regularly as E3 continues, so check back!

Electronic Arts
EA gave us glimpses of Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, and their work on Mass Effect Andromeda. They also explained their continuing plans for Star Wars, as well as sports staples FIFA and Madden.

Bethesda
As was anticipated, Bethesda announced Skyrim remastered and showed off some footage of the upcoming Dishonored 2. We also learned a lot of new Fallout news, including vault-building DLC and the game’s plans for the HTC Vive (see here for some background into why this is an interesting move). Bethesda also announced new Quake and Prey games, as well as some updates to The Elder Scrolls Online.

Microsoft
Take a look at our liveblog here.
The biggest news out of Microsoft (if you hadn’t heard it already) was Project Scorpio and the Xbox One Slim. In other hardware news, you can also make custom Xbox One controllers. Microsoft wants to blur the lines between console and PC, which could pay off or fail big time.
As far as games went, we saw a new Gears of War, a sequel to State of Decay, and some footage of ReCore and Sea of Thieves. Microsoft confirmed Dead Rising 4; showed the new game from the folks who made LIMBO, Inside; presented a spin-off to The Witcher’s card game Gwent; and we got to see a pretty sweet Final Fantasy XV battle.
Ubisoft

After that somewhat, er, trippy opening number, Ubisoft showed us a range of games and footage. Star Trek: Bridge Crew, a VR game, looks pretty cool. The Division will see an expansion, and we’re also getting Grow Up, a sequel to Grow Home. Trials of the Blood Dragon became available immediately after the show, and we’re already playing it. We also got long looks at gameplay for Watch Dogs 2, Ghost Recon Wildlands, For Honor, and Ubisoft’s new sports game, Steep.
Sony

Sony crammed a lot into their conference! We saw a ton of new games, like Days Gone, as well as got details about ones we’ve been familiar with before. There were trailers for Resident Evil 7 and a new God of War, as well as more footage of Detroit: Become Human and Horizon Zero Dawn. PlayStation VR will come out October 13th, and Sony also have a host of VR and VR-supportive games, including Final Fantasy XV, Batman Arkham, and a Star Wars mission. We also saw the trailer for Death Stranding, the new Kojima game (starring Norman Reedus), and got a release date of October 25 for The Last Guardian.

Day Two Highlights
Day Two of E3 gave us a chance to see how the internet reacted to Day One’s news, some hands-on time with and inside looks at new games, and the first day of the Nintendo Treehouse.
Kotaku’s Editor in Chief Stephen Totilo took to Facebook to show us some live footage of the show floor.
We also got our first look at Zelda: Breath of the Wild, new Amiibo, and more details about Pokemon Sun and Moon.
The internet dug into the trailer for Kojima’s new game, Death Stranding, as well as hunted for clues in the Resident Evil 7 demo. Debates also heated up over the Oculus Rift exclusivity of Serious Sam VR.
Day Two also brought us new footage and hands-on time with many upcoming and newly-announced games, including Persona 5, Agents of Mayhem, and Final Fantasy XV.

Day Three Highlights
On Day 3, Devolver Digital continued to try to carve out space for themselves at E3. We also learned more details about some newly-announced games and got to see them in action.

Other E3 Highlights
There was plenty to see as the conference wrapped up, including some long lines and young love. The internet continued to ponder over newly-revealed games, this time digging into the God of War reveal trailer and Zelda Breath of the Wild. We also learned about plans for existing games when we chatted with the game director of Final Fantasy XIV.
This year’s E3, like every year, had its share of cringe-worthy moments, as well as WTF ones. We also saw a ton of games we’re pretty excited for!
