With NBA Elite 11 indefinitely postponed, EA Sports promised to continue supporting NBA Live 10 with a fully updated roster for the 2010-2011 NBA season. All the league's players are included, but there are some features the update won't have.
Most importantly, while this year's rookies will be included they won't have "cyber face" support, meaning their models will be built from within the game's player-creation architecture rather than custom constructed. Any changes to jerseys (such as the Cleveland Cavaliers) or arenas will not be seen in the update. Dynamic Season support also is not included.
Essentially, it's an officially produced modified roster file, one you're getting from the studio instead of another player through the EA Sports Locker.
That said, Dynamic DNA will update throughout the regular season, reflecting players' real-world attribute progression and game tendencies. Player ratings also have been updated for the 2010-2011 season.
Still no word on when, or if, NBA Elite 11 will be released.
