2K Sports ran a simulation of the remaining rounds of the NBA Playoffs - the conference finals and the NBA Finals - and found the Chicago Bulls defeating the Dallas Mavericks in seven games.
The simulation calls for both Dallas and Chicago to win seven-game series in the conference finals (versus Oklahoma City and Miami, respectively) en route to their Finals pairing. In the Finals, Chicago rallies from a 3-1 series deficit to win it all. In Game 5, Luol Deng poured in 33 points to fight off elimination at Dallas; Carlos Boozer scored 23 and grabbed 17 rebounds in Game 6 to force a Game 7, and in the finale, Derrick Rose scored 42 points to seal the comeback.
Dirk Nowitzki, who looked flat unstoppable en route to 48 points in real life last night against OKC, goes MIA in Game 7, bagging just 17 points on 6-of-14 shooting.
In real life, Dallas currently leads Oklahoma City 1-0, while Chicago and Miami head back to South Beach at 1-1.
