Nothing says "I love you" like taking your significant other to a midnight launch event for Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, coming to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 15.
This is the box art you'll see hitting store shelves the day after Valentine's Day 2011, when Capcom unleashes the eagerly-awaited third installment of the epic clash between video games and comic books. It's the creation of Adi Granov, the same artist that designed the armor for the Iron Man movies. I love his take on Chun-Li, though his Hulk could use a little work.
Capcom also confirms the Collector's edition posted by GameStop, which includes a prequel comic, a one-month subscription to Marvel Digital, and a head start with Jill Valentine and Shuma Gorath, both of whom will be available to the non-collector's edition buying public as downloadable content four weeks after the game's launch.
GameStop preorder customers will also receive collectible console decals featuring Ryu, Wolverine, Dante, and Deadpool.
For those of you with significant others, I'd suggest getting Valentine's Day over with as quickly as possible, because on February 15 it's time to fight.
