Following on the heels of She-Hulk and Zero, another pair of characters are headed to upcoming fighting game Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Hungry for more?

According to retailer GameStop, Resident Evil's Jill and Marvel's Shuma-Gorath are bundled as DLC characters for Marvel vs. Capcom 3's Collector's Edition. The characters will be widely available to those who don't purchase the Collector's Edition four weeks after launch.

Priced at US$69.99, the Marvel vs. Capcom Collector's Edition goes on sale next year when the game hits retail.

And off the preorder list she goes!!! I'll have to wait for the first reviews to see how many of the announced characters are DLC. Micro-transaction gaming is really starting to piss me off. I remember playing games like Tekken where you could unlock the characters by playing the game... you know, instead of paying actual currency for them. For the larger games like Fallout or GTA, DLC actually makes sense because you're buying expansions on the original game. I didn't have to pay $5 to get the VATS system or the ability to hi-jack police cars. DLC for fighting games is just sooooo wrong. I already feel ripped off paying $60 for ANY fighting game.
