One would expect the developer behind a PS3 exclusive with an enormous online component to talk up the PlayStation Network. Ben Jones of Zipper Interactive went a smidge further, calling Xbox Live the "more juvenile" of the two services.

Jones, speaking to GamerZines at an event in London, praised PSNers for being more willing to communicate and organize to achieve a goal. Xbox Live players, he said, are a bit less sophisticated.

"I actually consider Xbox Live the more juvenile of the two," he said, on account of "the things that are being said over Xbox Live."

As for cooperative gaming on PSN, Jones says he saw it at its best during the MAG betas over the past few months. "We've got an audience that's willing to communicate and willing to organize and structure, and help other people to play the game," he said. "That's the most remarkable thing that I saw in the beta - random people helping other players along to try and familiarize themselves with this really cool experience."

I consider the PS3 folk more elitist fanboys because they seem to be the most outspoken in the "console wars"

By the way, Benny-boy doesn't realize several things, as I'm sure the rest of the short-sighted retards do before hopping on the "Dead Horse Bandwagon."

1. As many people know, PS3 doesn't come with a headset. Yeah sure, buy any Blutooth headset and use it. But do I want to hear the same crap I do on PC/360 on the PS3 only for an extra 40$+? And that's just for the low end. The quality doesn't significantly increase, at least not enough to warrant the purchase to your average gamer.

2. Hate to burst his "People are so helpful on PSN." but this applies to ANY new game. You think people were as big asstards in games like Diablo 2 or WoW at the start? ANY person who has played WoW or it's expansions, that people are the "nicest" when an expansion just comes out. It's not because all the people who sell flowers and greet the neighbor with an Apple Pie started to play the game, they want as much info/gear/experience as you do. It's the old "One hand washes another" saying.

Does Benny-boy really think people are going to be the same smiling faces when 5-6 weeks after release, the friendly people will still outweigh the 1Justk1ll3ds of the world who will yell about team work, then run solo into a hail of sniper fire and rage quit?

3. Maturity does not dictate age, as ol' Benny-boy proves. Nor does it dictate who buys what system. Bluray, superb graphics (in certain games) doesn't mean the well to do monocle top hat wearing gamers will be buying the PS3 over the 360.

3a. PS3 is now much cheaper, thus allowing a larger group of people buying it now. However, XBL still has a larger base over PSN, so you're going to run in alot more douchebags than you would on PSN... does that make PSN more mature? Or does it just mean you need to look a lot harder for the people with a voice to tell people to shut the fuck up, followed by any sort of racial/sexual slur.
