Ah, Commando. Somehow I managed to watch this when I was 11 years old and not kill anyone during my teenage years. While I don't think there's any shortage of mindless movies today, I do think there's an inverse relationship between the commercial popularity of military FPSes and this type of film. In other words, Call of Duty has completely usurped the appeal of this kind of flick.
I know when I was 11, we talked about Commando the way kids talk about Call of Duty nowadays, I expect. Just with half as much profanity.
