A designer's concept blending a functioning coin-operated washing machine with a coin-operated video game was only slightly less absurd than the 20 laureates of this week's 'Shop Contest, led by Daniel Bain. See them all inside!
Getting things started, electrikALIEN (6) just thought of the latest craze but, of course, it means one more peripheral taking up space. LucerinRed (12) adds some Dr. Who to the spin cycle. pan1da7 is blowing up some containers with a hybrid of X-Wing and the old vector-graphics Star Wars.
I thought that was Dodge 'Em for the Atari 2600 set inside Shadroch's (17) Back to the Future., but now I can't seem to place the screen. tunel (19) was victimized by the image upload but I couldn't leave this one out. So that's where the Red Shells go. Greetings, SphessMahreen! You have been recruited by the Star League to destroy the Ko-Dan Armada.
Andrew Wilson (1) brings back a laundromat favorite. I know a woman who was Ivan Stewart's publicist, actually. breadtruck (2), came up with Plants vs. Laundry. Note the severed head in Dudash83's (5) Mortal Laundromat.
Overall winners? Duck45 (4) came up with a great new color and configuration for the DS. GMM (8) had a naaaaaa-na-na-na-na-na-nice concept. lewismortonsyb (11) picked an obvious play on words but made it all go together. In the end, I took Daniel Bain (3), letting off a little steam for the Valve guy.
Thanks again, everybody. We'll have another contest tomorrow.
