A Pac-Man Rickshaw Is Coming To Tokyo

This holiday season, a lucky few can ride around one of Tokyo’s most popular tourist spots in a Pac-Man shaped rickshaw. Because nothing quite says Christmas like this? According to Famitsu, the ricksaw will only be in operation from December 23 to December 25. It will take folks on rides around Asakusa, an area of…

Fallout 4 Cosplay Always Gets The Scoop

This is Verisaas Fallout 4’s very own press sneak fuck, Piper. The weathering effects she’s done on the jacket and pants are so good I’m starting to wonder whether she actually just dug them out of the dirt somewhere. Photos by KIRA

Civilization’s Giant AI Battle Royale Died, Returns Way Better

Early last year, something beautiful happened:a single game of Civ V was started up, with 61 civs all controlled by the AI, then left to run. It was chaos, there was bloodshed, but sadly, it all kinda fell apart thanks to technical woes. Not to matter! It’s starting up again, and for curious spectators looks…

The State Of PC Gaming In 2016

2016 was yet another year that showed PC gaming is, in many ways, on the forefront of gaming. So many of gaming’s most popular trends—the proliferation of Early Access on consoles (for better or worse), survival game elements in everything, multiplatform mods, esports, and virtual reality—all started on PC. Even as it inspired other platforms,…

GTA Online Has Become An Incredible, Ridiculous Playground For The Rich

This week, Rockstar Games released a big Grand Theft Auto Online update focused on stealing cars. Committing acts of grand theft auto, if you will. This new expansion is titled “Import/Export.” It adds new ways to make money and some wacky vehicles to spend that money on. The problem is that, unless you already have…

Battlefield 1’s Latest Patch Nerfs Popular Sniper Rifle

The Martini-Henry is one of Battlefield 1‘s most interesting guns. It is a sniper rifle that is very difficult to use. You have no scope and one shot before reloading. If you made it count, the Martini-Henry could be a beast. ButBattlefield 1‘s latest patchhas transformed it into a something of a joke weapon. You…

Blizzard Says Their ‘Cool Meter’ Was Off On Mei’s Holiday Overwatch Skin

Overwatch skins might appear to be simple cosmetic alterations, but for some, they’re a matter of life and death. Or at least life and death by embarrassment. Fashion faux pas simply will not stand in this endless war of waifus and husbandos. Overwatch’s Winter Wonderland event and brawl center around Mei, who received a new…

YouTube Says They Can’t Find A Subscription Glitch, But Something Doesn’t Add Up

Yesterday, YouTube Help published a video countering widespread claims by YouTubers that the platform is screwing them over. In an explainer that can only be described as 3:27 minutes of “actually,” YouTube reps claim that the streaming platform is not unsubscribing people from channels, an accusation hundreds of YouTubers have full-throatedly complained about for weeks.…
