If the DSi were stock it would be down today. Why? Because we've updated the Buyer's Guide to the DS.
Our guides to what to buy, when to buy a gaming platform are packed with information, but the most important thing about them is that they are living documents. No, they won't bleed when you cut them, but we do plan to update these guides often with Kotaku's latest thinking about whether now's a good time to buy a system.
Take for instance the DS guide. Following last month's E3 news, we've changed our mind about Nintendo's portable system. With Nintendo confirming that you probably won't ever be able to transfer digital content between the DS and the DSi, we think now would be a terrible time to buy a DSi because it doesn't offer you enough value and the 3DS could perhaps fix that issue.
Since E3 (and the World Wide Developers Conference) was so packed with system-shaping news, we've also got updates to our iPhone, Playstation 3, Playstation Portable, Wii and Xbox 360 guides in bound.
Bookmark this page to keep up, and let us know what you think. Is now the time you'd tell a friend to buy your system of choice?
