In its latest status update, Capcom says they’ve docked League Points to penalize “roughly 30” players as part of their efforts to start cracking down on Street Fighter V rage-quitters. That’s a very small number considering how many people must be playing the game and disconnecting after losses. A permanent solution is still being worked on.

I’m still upset at the false connection bar indicators. I’ve had a few 5 bar matches where the other player teleports all over the place, and 3 bar matches with Japanese and European players that played smoothly. I would prefer they use an actual numerical value for latency and figure out how to calculate network jitter.

I did a battle lounge with my friend who lives in Japan, and it showed up as a 2 bar connection but it was very playable. For reference, I’m connecting from Texas.
