If Owlboy's Artist Made A Mega Man Game

Simon Anderson was the art director for Owlboy, one of last year’s great indie games and certainly one of its best looking. Today he showed what a Mega Man game animated by him would look like in action.

Spotted by Destructoid, the artist apparently decided to share a bunch of mock-ups he’s created over the years inspired in part by Mega Man’s 30th anniversary and the announcement of Mega Man 11. Some people were a bit skeptical when Capcom showed off the new game’s 2.5D aesthetic last week, hoping for something a bit more retro. If you’re in that camp than Anderson’s art will probably have an easy time winning you over.
