If It's Not Love, It's The T-Virus That Will Bring Us Together

When a video game's about one company's good guys and bad guys fighting another company's good guys and bad guys, writing up a story that sews together those rivalries is a bit of a challenge.

In the end, corporate badge means little to the story of Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, which got its third episodic trailer earlier today. Check it out.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will release in February in Japan, North America and Europe.

I feel severely disappointed with Marvel vs Capcom 3. I'm sure that it will play fine, but it really hasn't meet the standards roster wise.

Marvel vs Capcom 2 had an epic roster of characters that was diverse, entertaining, humorous, casual and hardcore. Lots of fun characters and great personalities from both sides.

MvC3 is no where near what 2 was and is. All that I can expected is masses of DLC for extra characters and that will suck.

Marvel vs Capcom 2 was one of my most played games the year that I picked it up for the PS2. I took ages getting the characters, high scores and competing with my brothers. Everyone's favourites were included. But 3, it comes up short.

For those new with MvC, I expect that the roster for 3 looks amazing. But for some of us who played the original and then 2, its just not on the same level.

But, I haven't played 3. So maybe its the best and the characters can be overlooked. Who knows...
