Rockstar Games has announced that starting next week, you’ll be able to pre-order Grand Theft Auto 6. And while it didn’t release a new trailer alongside this news, it did reveal the official cover for the game.

On June 18, Rockstar Games confirmed that you’ll be able to pre-order GTA 6 on digital storefronts and at “select retailers” starting on June 25. Yes, finally, GTA fans will be able to actually give Rockstar money for the highly anticipated next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series. I imagine this makes a lot of GTA fans and Take-Two execs very happy. No other info was revealed about whether there will be different editions. And more importantly, we still don’t know how much GTA 6 will cost. But we’ll find out the price next week.

Besides the news that GTA 6 pre-orders start soon, Rockstar also revealed the official cover art for Grand Theft Auto 6. Here’s a nice high-res image of it for you to look over cloesly:

Ohhh, very pretty and colorful. I especially like the alligator hanging out on the cover. Good for him. This cover has some big GTA: Vice City on PS2 vibes, and that ain’t a bad thing in my book at all. Mostly, I’m just happy that all of the game media will have a new image to use when writing about GTA 6 between now and the game’s release in November. Hopefully, none of those stories involves a delay.

If Rockstar and Take-Two are taking pre-order dollars and showing off the cover, it feels like we are actually getting this game in 2026. Wowza. Exciting stuff. And if it does get delayed out of November, well, that’s going to be really awkward for the rest of the industry that all ran away and hid in October and September.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is launching on November 19 on PS5 and Xbox. Pre-orders start on June 25.
