Monday Night Combat, the class-based shooter coming soon from Uber Entertainment, is one of the "Summer of Arcade" titles releasing over five weeks beginning in July. Here is the game's E3 trailer and some new screens detailing its Blitz mode.
According to Uber, Blitz mode will face players with various challenges to protect their Money Ball (the objective that, if destroyed, ends the match). For example, a ten round "Exhibition Blitz", or an endless wave of robots of increasing difficulty in a Sudden Death Blitz. The virtual currency earned in these challenges goes to a persistent lifetime earnings account, through which players can create custom classes and unlock "over 350 ProTags." Over 350!
MNC's specific release date has yet to be declared but it will be available for 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Arcade. Five more screens are below.
