North American PlayStation 3 owners are getting a positively swell premium edition of LittleBigPlanet 2 next year, but Europe? Unless you absolutely adore SteelBook cases, I think you’re going to feel slighted.

LittleBigPlanet 2’s collectors edition in Europe does come with the same digital content, giving you cool Sackboy costumes that make the LBP mascot look like Tron Legacy’s Clu, The Muppets’ Gonzo or PlayStation heroes Ratchet & Clank. But sadly, Europeans will not get plush Sackboys or LittleBigPlanet bookends. Bummer.
Maybe put in an import? The North American collector’s edition is only $79.99 USD, y’know.
