You know what the original LittleBigPlanet was missing? A collector's edition complete with downloadable costumes and a seven inch plush Sackboy. Sony corrects this oversight on November 16 with the LittleBigPlanet 2 Collector's edition.

There are several ways to purchase LittleBigPlanet 2 on November 16, the newly revealed release date for Media Molecule's next LittleBigThing. For instance, you can preorder from Amazon.com to score exclusive Ratchet & Clank Sackboy costumes. Best Buy preorders will score an alien costume from Disney's Toy Story. Or you can put your money down at GameStop for access to a Clu Sackboy costume from Tron: Legacy. Each retail-exclusive preorder bonus comes with a set of four Even More Animals costumes as well.

But what if you hate retailer exclusives? Well then the LittleBigPlanet Collector's Edition is for you. This attractive set includes all of the retailer-exclusive costumes and the Even More Animals costumes, plus exclusive Jak and Daxter outfits and five PlayStation Network avatars.

Now how much would you pay? But wait, there's more!

The collector's edition also comes with the seven inch plushie Sackboy you've always wanted, plus a pair of LittleBigPlanet "game ends," which are like bookends, only for games.

All that for only $79.99, but you'd better preorder soon, because the set is getting a very limited run. I plan on putting my money down later this evening, mainly because I only own bookends, and my games keep falling over.

They've even got GONZO from the Muppets, with more Muppets costumes on the way! This fills me with far too much joy. I'm going to need to lay down for a bit.
